Austin...Here we come!

After a full day of travel from Duringo, we stopped 30 miles from the Mexico border in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Denny treated me to a fine Mother's Day meal at a country club before moving into our KOA Kamping Kabin. Discovering these "Kabins" has been the delight of our trip so far.
This is the office of the KOA. The big "A" frame is the trademark.
Here is proof that we actually made it to Austin. The smile on JB's face says it all..."yes, I am wearing my g's top".
It's so great to be here with Suzette and Jonboy. It was a long 9 1/2 hours of traveling but so worth it. Now, we can't wait 'til the rest of the family arrives on Wednesday.

  1. It looks like the trip is going great. Have fun with the family in the “Loan Star State”.
I have not yet met the Pakistani couple across the street. It looks like a couple, but there are a lot of others around as well. That is the way it was in England. A couple would rent a place and then next thing you know there would be 30 folks in one place.
    Enjoy the trip.
