We left Tuba Arizona this morning and drove through the Navajo Nation to Four Corners. Here is Denny doing push-ups in 4 states at once! We all know he's strong but GIVE ME A BREAK! (or was that break-dancing?)
Next stop was Mesa Verde National Park. It defies reason why the Anasazi Indians lived here, in alcoves, on cliffs with children (what were they thinking?) between 600 and 1200 AD. It is an amazing sight.
Along this wall lived 600 to 800 people. Go figure. They farmed and hunted in the flat (Mesa) area above. This is beautiful country. Tomorrow: Durango and the train to Silverton. Can't wait.
The mission we served among the Romanian people remains a highlight of our lives. In this blog we tried to share our joys and struggles, our amusements and foibles, faces of friends, faithful members and countrymen, the amazing humanitarian program of the Church we represented, and finally and most especially, our love affair with the wonderful missionaries whom we got to know and love and serve.
