Yes, we're happy to be at the Grand Canyon. This place is so gigantic that pictures do no justice. It was a beautiful day and we loved every minute of going to the various viewpoints and staring an the immenceness. (However you spell it)

We were at the South Rim and the air was so clear (really) that you could see for 100 miles. The actual width from rim to rim is 6 to 18 miles. You can hike to the Colorado river below (if you have rocks for brains) but they warn you about making it back in one day. They rescue macho's everyday. We didn't want to be a statisic so we viewed from the rim.
