Today our adventure juices took us to explore the famous arches in the park. After climbing for more than an hour we finally made it to "Delicate Arch", the most famous arch in Utah pictures. It was spectacular and we were proud of ourselves for making the effort. Lucky for us, the temperature was in the 80's, the last semi-cool day of the year. Valley Fitness treadmills could never match the incline setting we endured!
Here we are at the longest arch in the park, "Landscape Arch". Spectacular! Then we got a little crazy and decided to take a Hummer tour to acquaint us with what the hype of "off-roading" is all about. All I can say is, "YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!" We went all over the mountain into places only a mountain goat should go. It was a blast, only to be trusted to a trained professional driver!

That's so cool. I'm sure your hummer ride was nothing compared to what Jonboy has prepared for us in Austin with his Jeep.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! The Hummer tour sounds fun and terrifying.
